garment care

Taking proper care of your FYTZ pieces not only keeps them looking great but also extends their life, helping reduce waste and minimise the environmental impact of our clothes on the planet.

Washing
  • Wash in cold water (30°C / 86°F) with a gentle, eco-friendly detergent (better for the clothes & for the environment)
  • Turn garments inside out (to protect prints and details)
  • Always wash like colors together (to avoid potential colour-bleeding and staining on lighter clothes)
  • Never use bleach (weakens fibres and alters the colour of your garments)
Drying
  • Air dry only (less energy consumption)
  • Hang in the shade, away from direct sunlight (to prevent fading)
  • Do not tumble dry (weakens fibres, potentially leading to pilling or even tears and holes)
Ironing & Dry Cleaning
  • If necessary, use low heat and iron on the reverse side (to avoid damaging fabrics and prints)
  • Avoid prints, patches, or embellishments (these can melt, crack, or peel under heat)
  • Do not dry clean (the chemicals used in this process can be harsh and damage fibres and prints)
Stains
  • Soak in cold water with like colours (to prevent colour transfer or setting the stain)
  • Use colour-safe stain-removing powders and/or pre-wash treatments (to protect the fabric, dyes & prints while lifting the stain)
